Practice "AAA" Conversation Threading at Tea Time

At Numa Institute, we believe in providing our students with immersive opportunities to hone their language skills in real-world settings. That's why we've incorporated the "AAA" technique into our popular Tea Time sessions, where students can engage in lively discussions while enjoying a cup of tea.

How "AAA" Works:

1. Ask: Participant A asks a question to Particiapant B. The question serves as the starting point for the conversation and encourages participants to express their opinions and share personal experiences.
2. Answer: Participant B has the opportunity to respond to the question posed, expressing their thoughts, feelings, and insights on the topic at hand. By articulating their responses in the target language, students practice formulating coherent sentences and expanding their vocabulary in a supportive environment.
3. Add: Participant B is encouraged to "add" to the conversation by building upon the ideas they introduced in their initial answer. This could involve sharing related anecdotes or offering additional perspectives to deepen the discussion further. After Participant B is finished "adding" they cycle back to #1 Ask and switch roles with their partners.
